As shown in Figure 1, below, strategic thinking is the pro cess through which you recognize, prioritize and mobilize (RPM) to deal with challenges and opportunities. This is a cyclic al process in which recognition of problems leads to prioritizing the most important ones and then mobilizing your organization to solve those problems. Moving rapidly through RPM cycles has great value because it will help you – and your team – move faster than competitors.
