Moreover, the effectiveness of the health and education systems, and the protection of the environment, have a crucial role in driving competitiveness trends. We always feel privileged and grateful to enjoy the support of a substantial group of stakeholders. From our Partner Institutes that coordinate part of the demanding task to gather and validate the necessary data employed, to the IMD Alumni community and our Panel of Experts from all the countries who respond to our questionnaire, to the IMD faculty and staff for their support, feedback and involvement. We are fortunate and honored for their continuous collaboration. This year, in particular, they miraculously managed to make us feel that it was business as usual and not a uniquely complicated, difficult and uncertain environment in which to gather, validate, and share the necessary information.
