In 2021, IMD further embraced and finetuned its use of technology-mediated learning across this portfolio to enhance impact and reach wider audiences, including the introduction of virtual reality pedagogical tools, five new virtual “liVe” programs and eight new online learning experiences. Further highlights from the year included the launch of IMD’s talent assessment and development suite Voyager, a new 15-day Digital Transformation Sprint online format, and an innovation program in partnership with UEFA and the International Olympic Committee. Participation in IMD’s open online programs jumped by almost half from 2020, while the institute won top awards for its custom leadership programs with SITA and Julius Baer.
